Apostle To Zaire: The Life and Legacy of Blessed Fr. Cosmas of Grigoriou
by Demetrios Aslanidis and Monk Damascene Grigoriatis
Apostle to Zaire In every generation there are those few exceptional souls who rise out of the conventionality of social life to become path-finders to the catholicity and otherworldliness of Christianity. Heroic and uncompromising, they imitate Abraham and become exiles and martyrs for Christ, following Him with loving exactness and mountain-moving faith. They "hate their life in this world" in order to keep it - and that of their neighbor's - for eternity; and to successive generations they become models to imitate, witnessing, long after their departure, to the honour the father bestows on those who serve Him. Preface by Arhcimandrite George of Grigoriou monastery, Mt Athos.

Wade in the River
 by Father Paisius Altschul
Wade in the River This book offers a fresh approach to the faith of Africa and it’s contribution to the world. Starting with the Biblical accounts of significant Africans, then passing through early Christianity, winding through the Islamic period, pressing past Western slavery, and finally arriving at the present era, readers will discover the riches of ancient, African Christianity. This book fills an important gap in the need for people from all ethnic backgrounds to rethink the idea that "Christianity is a white man’s religion." Published by Crossbearers Publishing

An Unbroken Circle: Linking Ancient African Christianity to the African-American Experience
Editor: Father Paisius Altschul
The Unbroken Circle This publication is the result of five conferences on Ancient Christianity and African America sponsored by St. Mary's. The book is based on lectures from the conferences, discussing the depth of faith derived from the African American experience of suffering and sanctity and linking it with the suffering of the early Christians. The book thus shows the place of Orthodox Christianity in African America today and the wealth of heritage waiting to be tapped from the Church in Africa. God's Revelation to the Human Heart
by Father Seraphim Rose
Father Seraphim Rose (From the back cover)
"What does man seek in religion, and what should he seek in it? How does God reveal Himself in order to bring man to a knowlegde of the Truth? How does suffering help this revelation to occur? These and other questions were discussed by Fr. Seraphim Rose, an Orthodox Christian monk from the mountains of northern California, during a lecture he gave at the University of California, Sanata Cruz, in 1981. The contents of this lecture comprise the present book, which includes Fr. Seraphim's answers to questions asked by university students." Published by St. Herman of Alaska Brotherhood
